So I am curious.
Are there existing good resources online dealing specifically with TTRPG crowdfunding?
We see all these projects draw a lot of eyes during the funding rush, but rarely do I see much discourse on post fulfillment unless something goes disastrously wrong.
The kinda info I would love to see:
a) Did the project deliver on what was promised in a reasonable timeline? Delays happen, especially for physical product.
b) Was the game any good? This includes production values, system in play, potential going forward.
c) Is the game still alive? Does it have a community generating new ideas or fan content? Is there any official content after the initial offering?
d) Look, there are plenty of bad actors in this space, especially when money becomes involved. Have any red flags come up?
I'm not looking for gossip. I just want to see how healthy this whole ecosystem is and I'm curious if someone with much more drive and reserch connections has already been examining all this.
