Fantastic classes is good value for the money, very handy to help me flesh out C&C, just a lil bit... ;)

An OGL Saga Fantasy game would be interesting...

Well, I'll add my name to the roll of people who'd like a SAGA-like version of D&D. I've already made some changes in my current ROTTEE campaign to drift that direction. We've stolen the SAGA skill system, and pending further review I plan on taking the crit theories as well.

Personally I'd love to see a game combining the elements from d20 Modern, SAGA edition SW and other novel mechanics we've seen over the past 5 years. I hope that will be 4e!

Until then, I already made a start on reducing D&D to generic classes with talent trees, simplified skills and such. Some things from SAGA definitely work, others won't because D&D players are quite technical, less cinematic, IMO.

So, I'd love to see if the community could come up with 4e before WotC!

Okay, looks like we're pretty much a go. It should take me about two months to get it together, and another month for layout and digging up appropriate artwork from the public domain (since this project will have no starting money and so there will be nothing to pay artists with).

The end result will be available in both PDF and Print-On-Demand.

With Regards,
Flynn

And remember, it's Saga Edition, not SAGA, which is the card-based game that Dragonlance Fifth Age and Marvel Super Heroes used. :)

Cheers,
Cam
