The Planescape "Planes of Law" boxed set had the skeleton of an adventure in which the PC's had to mediate a serious dispute between a bronze dragon and some encroaching formians (in 2e, formians were at least nominally Good-aligned). It was interesting because 1) it was non-combat, and 2) it could go wrong, and how do you break up a fight between a dragon and an army of formians?
Meanwhile, the "Planes of Chaos" boxed set had an adventure called "Deliverance" featuring all kinds of Slaadi, but it was set in Limbo.
Also, I somehow suspect that the 2e "Dragon Mountain" boxed set featured the spooky red dragon on the cover, although I've never played it myself.
