No, I reckon Necropolis, or as Bill Webb puts it, "Imagine a huge desert wilderness adventure culminating in the Tomb of Horrors on crack-that about describes Necropolis."

:)

Cheers!

Well either RA or Necropolis are great Tomb of Horrors type dealios. At least in this Necromancer Game fanboy's heart.

I remembered somone mention they were playing a sword and sorcery module which was like the old tomb of horrors. Anyone know the name of it, or have any alternatives?

You don't need to spend any money to have the Tomb of Horrors experience. Simply ask your players a series of questions.

Which way to you go?
A. Left
B. Right

Which color do you prefer?
A. Black
B. Blue

Which knob do you turn?
A. The shiny one
B. The dull one

Which lever to you pull?
A. The left one
B. The right one

Do you drink the water from the pool?
A. Yes
B. No

And so on.

Before the game, note the correct answer for each question. If correct, you live. If incorrect, you die with no saving throw. Ta da, instant Tomb of Horrors.

A new Necromancer module called The Fane of the Witch King promises to have an extremely high mortality rate. It is a lot like The Banewarrens in flavor and execution. I'm getting ready to start running it this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. I'll let you know how it plays...

Well, if you take any of their modules, then randomly kill characters for no reason, you've pretty much got the essense of ToH
