I heard there was a module/adventure wherein pcs can build a castle, or a city or both or somehting. I think this would be awesome for our group.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I heard there was a new core/main campaign setting book coming out for Golarion. Will this been 100% compatible with the Kingmaker series, and indeed all current module/adventures, or are there going to be some issues?

The previous Campaign Setting came out in 2008, and was for 3.5.

The new Inner Sea World Guide is a a revised and expanded version of that book, and is fully compatible with the Pathfinder system.

If you are considering running Kingmaker, you may also enjoy the Guide to the River Kingdoms, which offers more information on that region.

Good news

Thank you

I like the idea of using 3.5 for a Midkemia setting I'm building. Going through the books one by one taking notes.

I was thinking of using 3.5 but I heard PF is a better modelling of the rules. 3.6 perhaps. How tied to the setting are the rules? And more importantly, is there a file containing the list of changes from 3.5 to PF?

Thanks all

The main Pathfinder rule books are pretty divorced from the world of Golarion, though the Golarion books are also quite excellent. You will find about the same amount of ties as the 3.5 books had to Greyhawk (default god names, and very little else).

The conversion guide from 3.5 to Pathfinder can be found Here

It isn't exhaustive, and I would suggest reading over the rules as they come up in game, rather than assuming everything is as it was in 3.5 (many spells have changed, for example). However, I think it would be as easy to do Midkemia in Pathfinder as it would in 3.5.
