Looking to make epic level dragon PC's...

First Post
I've purchased dragon mags 320 and 332, which has the conversions of the basic 10 dragons. Thing is, I'm planning on running an all dragon campaign in the near future. Since the campaign world uses dragons as the ruling class, I'm going to need charts that go beyond 20th level.

So, has anyone seen info for running dragon PC's to great wyrm or higher (I'm using the Epic advanced dragon rules)? Or, if I'm missing it, do you know the patterns or logic used to convert the dragons into monster classes?

Yes I know... WTF . Thing is, the political movers and shakers (as well as potential enemies) are great wyrm or close to it. I'd like to give the players something to aspire to.

I'm not entirely clear on what you're looking for, but you might try the Draconomicon. Lotsa good stuff about and for dragons. Heck some of the Draconic prestige classes you can't even get into untill epic levels.

Draconomicon is an absolute must for an all-dragon campaign!!! Or for any campaign that contains dragons at all. It's the coolest D&D book on the market, IMO. Loads of great dragon PrC's, feats, spells and magic items. Think long and hard before allowing the Dragon Descendant PrC, though. It essentially allows a dragon to achieve divine rank 0...

It has a good deal of material on dragons as PC's. Of course, the focus is on non-epic PC's, but you'll find useful advice on epic PC's too.

Read most of it. I don't remember anything that helped plan a draconic progression past young adult (I could be wrong though).

Anything on specific level progressions?

IIRC (and I think I do), there were guidelines for how much you should up the LA as the dragon gains a new age category, size, special power etc. Not an actual table that went beyond LA +20 for each kind of dragon, though.
