Travok and Kairon were reluctant to take the quest, for they heard rumors of the horrors that would await them as they went against the giants. They sneaked into the Market of the hill giants. The sight inside turned their stomachs. The people of the lands were placed on giant tables and shelves to be perused, selected, and eaten by the giants. Victims were separated by race and nationality. They moved past the tables of green, leafy creatures; tall, orange beings; and fat, red, squishy beasts to a section of the hall that was dedicated to the denizens of Lord Cupcake's realm. In a clear case Lady Cupcake sat imprisoned. They freed her and teleported her back to safety after she charged them with descending into the depths and stopping the menace of the giants. In the dark depths below, further horrors were revealed. Creatures of all types had been mixed up, processed, mixed with unnatural reagents and coloring, and placed in brightly painted crates that described their delicious (to the giants) contents. After finding a map, Travok and Kairon realize that some crates and bags are destined for a frozen land. Grasping a cord tying one of the bags, they are transported to the frozen land. In the frozen land of Freezer, Travok and Kairon further realize the extent of the food distribution network being formed by the giants. They are soon discovered, and they hastily look for a way out. In desparation, they push a giant lever marked "Final Destination" and are teleported to a land of devastation and fire. In this most disturbing of lands, giants are cutting up various people as preparation for eating. No distinction is made between race or nationality as dishes are created following intricate recipes. As they penetrate deep into the land of Kitchen, they encounter en evil fighter/cleric cow who has masterminded the unification of the giants and their assault on the good people of the surface world. After slaughtering him and leaving a note for the giants ("Cows are delicious!"), they follow a tunnel that must lead to the dark land of the cow.
