One of those discussion that reminds me why I like this board. About women in roleplaying... HIGHJACK ALERT HIGHJACK ALERT:
Have you ever had several women in RPG groups who all wanted to play males?
I got three right now. I had long talks with them about it (all of them quite able to express themselves) and this is kinda what's the reason: Women today have role problems in modern society. There are no real examples. So, if they should play a women in a fantasy setting, they got no idea how to do it, while male characters are easy and well known.
Fantasy literature is all about an idealized worldview. Looks like many womens don't have an idea how their ideal looks like.
