Quite possibly! Do you know which of the older adventurers were good introductions?I wonder if some of the older 5e LOTR adventures would serve as better intro, if Star of the Mist was simply "adequate."

Sam would definitely manage both, it’s true. The MVP of LoTR.Same, but both! And running both One Ring and LOTR5e are on at least one of those lists.
Maybe if I had a Samwise Gamgee, I could address both adventuring and gardening.
That's . . . exactly what happened when I read LotR. There was the big Middle Earth map, but not a smaller one for Fangorn or the Riddermark. So I'd say the game is right on the money.I had to piece the layout together from the narrative text, and ended up getting some stuff confused. Actually, the same thing happened on the journey map too.
