Actually, I like Sayid.

Killing off a character people don't like wouldn't have anywhere near the impact that killing of a popular one would.

That's why I think Hurley's gonna be the one to go.

I'm for Boone. He's become Locke's expendable sidekick. We know Locke had some sort of "encounter" with the big bad monster that never got explained, and they're about to crack open the pod.

Killing a kid character, popular or not, always have an impact.

Killing a dog would be icing on the cake (plus it'll piss off PETA, which would be a non-sexual climactic peak for me).

I found some spoilers that HINT at the victim but haven't seen any spoiler that actually identifies him/her... should i post the hints in spoiler tags? or just leave it since will take away some of the fun of just guessing on your own... ?

Tag it and post it, IMHO. Way I see it, nothing's written in stone and no one knows for sure 'til the episode airs. Any "spoiler" is questionable. But this way we can go back later and see if your source was right.

When the BIG castmember dies off, Claire's baby will be born .... And Jack will NOT be the one to deliver it. The ultimate reason for the death will be the ultimate betrayal from someone he believes to be his trusted ally. But I will say that when I say BIG character, it is not a reference to anyone's size.

Locke is responsible for the character's death...but not in the way you think, this person dies because of something Locke has done

Matthew Fox confirmed that Jack does not die. He has says the death will lead to a divide with the island survivers.

Now if this was a "which character do you HOPE would die" poll 1) that would be morbid and sadistic 2) my choice would be different.

(the boy - sure, he has paranormal things that manifest around him, but the character is annoying the crud out of me... his dog too, seems way too random a character to have on the island and it's always conviently not around half the time, only serves as something for the boy to go play with or have to go find or to dig up buried briefcases and handcuffs)

But how come you didn't vote for Walt? I can't be the only one voting him out if you feel the same way I do.

I think it almost HAS to be Walt. He doesn't really have a place in Grownups Gilligan's Island, he doesn't have the years to have stacked coincidences of happenstance meetings with the other characters that everyone else does, if they keep them they'll always be tempted to play the Wesley card, and most importantly it makes Micheal a much MUCH more interesting character. Suddenly he becomes more than the hotheaded dude with the kid, he gets to have a reason for going cold and hateful besides insecurity, he becomes more sympathetic to lonely married women, and he's automatically jealous of Claire. Walt's the perfect candidate, because he's the "you killed a kid?" wrench. When kids die everyone feels less safe, and in a series like Lost that's a good thing - they're not safe, the series thrives on random chances being the threads of anxiety
