Lost Eberron 4E Style: Combat over, Level up!

Eliza stomach rumbles. "I'm hungry, I can only imagine how you all must feel." The sound of the rowboat scaping against the sandy shores interrupts her speech. "The ocean is kind to us today. There are weapons and supplies aboard my ship. Take whatever you need. I need to rest, my day thus far took a lot out of me. I'll hide in one of the ships. When you come back, bring my dog with me. His name is Rex." She hands Lorn a small bone whistle. "Blow on this and he'll come with you."

I take then that the ship is yours to command? How will they know that you've given your permission to take what we need, and not just left you stranded here on the shore?

Lorn glanced at the wrecks the littered the area.

Speaking of which, there have been some...nasty surprises waiting in more than one of these.

Eliza waves her hand dismissively. "I had considerable wealth at my command. I paid for much of everything. How else was I to convince the crew to sail to nowwhere? I'm sure I'll be fine. I'll stay within sight if you want."

I prefer the shore, and will stay to protect the lady, Stellan offers. We can't afford to pass on any possible source of advantage as we seek to understand this strange place, but we can't trust it, either.

"That is fine, if you insist. I can take care of myself though." Eliza runs her fingers through her hair, trying to straighten out the knots in it. "My brother's ship should be easily identified, should you see it while out in the graveyard. It's called the Rotting Maiden. Quite disturbing if you ask me. Knowing his preferences now, it seems quite suitable."

The sun is rising into the air, and the day is growing quite warm again. The small rowboat has enough room for 6 people. Two rowers and another to operate a rudder to aid in manuverability are needed.

[sblock=ooc]Two rowers are required, the rudder operator is optional, depending on how sharp you want to turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=Perception DC 20]There doesn't seem to be any activity on the deck of the ship.[/sblock]

Hesh looks skeptically at the woman, ignoring the boat. Something didn't smell right, but he couldn't place his mind on it. Not assured, he began to try to get to the rowboat.

Are we really going looking for a man who owns a ship named "Rotten Maiden" when this island is full of undead that speak of a master?? cries out Thormir.

That ship out there could be the ticket out of here. We should at least go and see how bad the damage is, and if the sailors think it fixable.

Lorn points toward the boat.

I'll ride in the front and blast anything that tries to board.
