Lost in La Mancha

Lost In La Mancha may be the first 'un-making of' documentary. In a genre that exists to hype films before their release, Lost In La Mancha presents an unexpected twist: it is the story of a film that does not exist. Instead of a sanitised glimpse behind the scenes, Lost In La Mancha offers a unique, in-depth look at the harsher realities of filmmaking. With drama that ranges from personal conflicts to epic storms, this is a record of a film disintegrating - specifically, Terry Gilliam's adaptation of Don Quixote.

Anyone seen it yet? :)

I saw a blurb on CNN about this. Does look rather interesting in a "watching a car wreck" kind of way. I'd like to see it. Until then, I'll join CMG in waiting for someone' report.

I'm surprised with the number of movies made by Terry Gilliam that have at least been on the fringes of our favorite genre that no one here has seen this yet. Is it on a very limited release? In Chicago, it is at the one large theatre that prides itself on bringing "Art House" films to the fore but I also know that it was first released at least a couple of months ago, as it was at the Chicago Film Festival back then. *shrug*
