That may have been one of those secret codes... Naomi tells the ship "everything's okay" and that puts Kate as ease... but the people on the boat are saying "she doesn't have a sister, time for plan "B".

Or not... :)

Hee hee! You never know.

That reminded me of the little exchange between Locke and Ben from last season.

Locke: "'The man from Tallahassee?' What is that--some kind of code?"

Ben: "No, John. Unfortunately, we don't have a code for 'There's a man in my closet with a gun to my daughter's head'...although we obviously should."

So, it seems rather cut-and-dried at this point. The castaways deal with the threat of the invaders, who don't relay the island's location to their home base. Six manage to get off, but they daren't reveal the location of the island because it's too dangerous to let fall into any power group's hands.

Something along those lines.
Because it seems so cut-and-dried, yet there are still three full seasons to go, there's no way that's what happens.

Ben wasn't on Oceanic 815, so I doubt he's one of the "Oceanic Six."

Though it did seem like it was him in the coffin. Or maybe Locke. Either works now, I think, with Jack's reaction.

Maybe Sun is one of the O-six. That way she can have her baby off the island but be motivated to go back to be with Jin.

Well, there are always twisits... Like I think Locke might come off the island, because that would be so unlike him (that is the twist). Perhaps with all of the "Other's" resources, they can make it look like Ben was on the plane, so he is dubbed as one of the Oceanic Six.

A lot can happen and change the course of the next several seasons, and it's no mystery that the LOST character's haven't been consistant personality-wise, so who knows how it will end up?

Someone pointed out the obvious to me today. While there is an 'Oceanic 6' that by no means eliminates the possibility of some of the 'others' also being rescued. (Ben, Desmond, etc...) Which brings me back to the certainty that it was Ben's funeral we saw in the season 3 finale.

And I was more referring to that Ben would be getting off the island, because I think he is the one in the coffin. Not necessarily that he is considered one of the Oceanic Six.
