Seems tricky, what with the Earth also moving rapidly through space. I suppose that could be accounted for, somehow.

Once they are rescued, the island will get moved (while Ben and the rest of the Oceanic survivors are still on it). Then eventually Ben will leave the island w/ no way to know where it actually moved to..

Hand of Evil said:Raft holds six - six make it home - Merc has a dead man switch - ship rigged to go BOOM (there is always a BOOM).
I think Sun leaves the boat.
Boat goes BOOM.
Jinn dies. Swayer dies.
Jack, Hugo, Kate, and Sayid are picked up by Sun (and baby)
Island starts to move in time.
Ben jumps into transporter, finds six month to a year has gone by.
Rackhir said:We know Jinn doesn't die. He was in the flashforwards when Sun was giving birth. Sun did seem to think he was dead IIRC, though.
Mister Doug said:Ah, but he wasn't in a flashforward that episode. That was the trick to the editing, it appeared that, Jin was in a flashback, Sun in a flashforward, and that Jin was at least treated as if her were dead by Sun.
We don't know that Jin is alive or not, but Sun made sure he had a memorial....
