That second review was pretty darn gushing.

This will make me finally buy a dvd player.

Seriously, someone give that man a towel!

I am really looking forward to this one. I even held off on buying the current DVD version so I can buy the big set (a difficult thing to do for me). So we have LOTR extended DVD, then Harry Potter 2, then LOTR 2 all in a row. It's gonna be a nice holiday season!

I too have amazingly held off buying the first releaase to wait for the new one. But it's going to be about $74 Australian Dollars (umm, $38USD). Since I am going on a holiday to Europe for two months from November, I can't really afford it until I come back now

However, I do plan on seeing Two Towers in a THX theatre in London while I am there - I can't wait. Just have to rent it so I can see it before I go.

I'm like Mistwell and Valavien in holding off for the extended version. I have one problem with it though, the fact the movie is split over two discs bugs me to no end.

I agree that does suck, unless you're lucky enough to have a DvD changer but even with that it's still a draw back.

The first review link gives away how to find 2 Easter Eggs -- I don't know if I wanted to yet find that out. Takes away a little bit of the fun.

Ah well, I know it now (and knowing is half the battle :) )

(I'm rambling, sorry, it's late)
