Low Level City Based Modules?

Are there any 1st-3rd level modules, outside of Freeport and some encounters from Urban Blight, that take place in the city? My group recently thrust the GM mantle upon me again and I'm pulling things from Canting Crew (hate the $ based values instead of GP!), Q. Rogue, and a few others for Mithril. Players are trying to get into a mercenary unit and are doing errands basically fighting Thugs from the goold old Traps & Treachery book, as well as getting into pit fights and starting trouble with the Legion of Scarlet. So, any low level city modules?

Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside is a adventure for 2nd level PC's and gets from pt. A to a major city (hopefully Bluffside):D .

In the Belly of the Beast by Mike Mearls is set in a city. (To be more precise, it's in the sewers under a city.) Designed for levels 1-3. When I playtested it, our group was predominantly 2nd level, and they did OK.

Excellent module. Ran it in my first campaign set in Karathis (Fiery Dragon home setting.)

Shades of Gray

Haven't heard about that one. Will definatly have to look it up. May be a good tie in for Guardian and Shadowlands.

Great adventure but isn't in a city per say, but gets the PCs to a city. Bluffside is set in my Scarred Lands campaign and I've explained the desturction via the war. Rumors persist that the old race (what is it, Scarleians or something) had a major power base there and the gods and titans deliberatly destroyed that land for that reason.

Thanks for the replies thus far. Any other city based modules?

One of the web enhancements, which should be out soon, do not ask:mad: will get you down and dirty in Bluffside, and should be of low level fun....will post when we have it.

It's not 3E, but a lot of the modules for the AD&D version of Lankhmar were not really modules per se, but books of dozens of 1 and 2 page city adventures (Wonder of Lankhmar is one of them, can't remember the others off hand). A plot hook, the gist of the adventure, a map (maybe), and the relevent stats.

AFAIK, no one has done that for 3E.

Feel free to head on over to Bastion and pick up an adventure that is kinda close to my heart - Danger in Deadwood, which is 3e and is for 2nd-4th level characters (and beyond)! ;) It's setting is a wilderness hamlet, which you can drop into anyplace! :)

Enjoy...http://www.bastionpress.com/PDF%20store.htm

Sorry but this is something I don't care at all about. One of the greatest failings of most publishers is this whole low level hamlet thing. The Vilalge of Homlet is over people. Let it die. Do something different. I'm sure that it's a fine adventure but there are so many many many many low level adventures in the small town that can be plopped anywhere that I deliberately went to a city format and campaign base to directly avoid such boring, humble, and oh so ever used boring starting places.

I mean isn't the first adventure from almost every company in this vein? Pit of Loch? Vault of NeMoren? Crucible of Freya? Etc... Etc.. Etc...

Time honored but overused to the Nth degree.

Low level huh? Well perhaps what you need is a good hook. Ratmen, (take your pick as to what kind) have started to inflitrate the town and thus the city as well. They use small enchantments to help hide their appearances and/or disguise kits to try and gain more power inside the city. They also have a few other allies but they are more interested in making life in the city terrible since they want all the other races out.

That help Joe?

Btw, it's Slacerians. The gods and the Titans DID fight against them.
