Low-level wizard prestige classes?

First Post
I'm playing in a "slightly silly" campaign as a VoP wizard (I got the spellbook for "free"). The character is currently level 3 as a Human Paragon 2/Wizard 1, and it occurred to me that it would be very amusing to see how far I could go as a Wizard 1 (or Wizard Low).

I can make Human Paragon 3/Wizard 1, but then I would need to branch out some more. So I'm tossing it to the collective wisdom of Enworld: what fun prestige classes are out there for low-level casters?

Restrictions: full caster level (or 9/10) progression. I'm the only wizard in the party, and we're going to need our spells. I'm one level back already, and it shows even at this low level.

Let the games begin!

I have: complete divine, complete warrior, book of exalted deeds (and vile darkness, though that is a _bit_ out of character). I can probably get my hands on others as well.

Normally PrCls are deisgned so that the soonest you can qualify is level 6, so you may need to be HPa 3 / Wiz 2 before, but it is probably possible to find some trick to enter earlier.

Those books you mentioned have very few PrCls for wizards, do you have good'ol Tome & Blood?

Anyway, as a Human Paragon you will have an EASY time with skills to qualify for PrCl, because you choose 10 class skills (one of which will be class skill for wizard levels as well) and get 4 sp / level. If you started as HPa, you should have spent now 22 + (3 x Int) skill points.
You also got some proficiencies (simple weapons + 1 martial weapon, light armor), a bonus feat, and 2 wizard spellcasting levels - so you currently cast 2nd level spells.
Your BAB is currently +3 and your base ST are +0 +0 +5.

I think the skill factor is the one that would help most for PrCls, but usually every PrCl is designed to make sure you can't get in before an intended level, no matter what class combination you have. This is done usually either with a min skill rank, a min spell level or a min BAB, all of which cannot be improved over a limit.

I do have tome and blood. I've never been that impressed with the splatbook to tell you the truth, although the Mindbender is _always_ a fun concept (and the Alienist! Ahhhhh! Spiders in my EYES!!!")

Amusingly enough, many of the classes I've been looking at as "fun" are Divine PrCs (or in CD). Contemplative, Thaumaturgist...

Thanks for the link and suggestions! :)
