[QUOTE="GlassEye, post: 6744152, member: 40413"] Autumn's blade sends two pieces of the same scorpion flying in different directions. Only one vermin is left at Arradon's feet. Unfortunately, delirium prevents Arradon from killing it. Aelspeth watches as her spell causes a comedy of errors amongst the kobolds of which Rak'tan takes deadly advantage. His sword flicks out and casually takes the lives of two kobolds. The third kobold, now the last one facing Rak'tan, seems to have the Stranger's luck as the greatsword the tiefling wields strikes out twice but misses each time. Aelspeth casts a spell and again hacks up a gobbet of acid to spit at the kobold. Careful to avoid hitting Rak'tan Aelspeth spits a bit wide and the acid splashes against the side wall. The kobold lifts the crossbow and Rak'tan finds himself staring down the wrong end of a heavy iron bolt. As the kobold begins to drag back on the trigger mechanism the entire weapon slips from his hands and clatters again to the floor. Panicked, the kobold turns and bolts like the one before it. The last two scorpions, one on Rak'tan and one facing Arradon and Autumn, make good on their attacks. Both men feel the familiar sting as poison is pumped into their bodies. [GM]Round Five; everyone is up. The fleeing kobold provokes 1 AoO from Rak'tan. Rak'tan & Arradon again need a DC 10 Fort save.
