[QUOTE="GlassEye, post: 6747000, member: 40413"] At this point the scorpion is just a nuisance. Rak'tan brushes it off his shoulder and stomps it, cracking the carapace of the vermin under his boot. Autumn shinnies up the rope to join Rak'tan in the upper chamber. Below Aelspeth waits to be pulled up and Arradon sweats out the poison that has infected him and made him feverish. Unless there is more that Arradon and Aelspeth wish to do in the entrance to the lair they can easily climb or be pulled up into the guard chamber. Within that chamber (room 2, level 1 map) there is little of interest. The rope is tied to a heavy ring in the wall and a clever arrangement of cords lead to a cage; any who used the rope would trigger the scorpions to drop on them as happened to Rak'tan. The dead kobolds have little of interest on them except the heavy crossbow and a case of bolts. The crossbow looks to be well-made if poorly upkept since it came into the possession of the kobolds. It may not be useful to anyone in the group but it could be sold for a goodly amount of coin. There is another door in the slanted portion of the floor that leads deeper into the kobold lair. Looking down into that lower room (room 3, level 1 map) by any with enhanced vision to do so or with a light shows that it is currently empty though it appears it has been well lived in recently. A thick tree limb is propped from the door down to the floor in the lower room.
