Whatever the case, I can only guess, however I theorise that in order for us to combat this chieftain, we need to either use offensive spells, magical weaponry or spells that allow weapons to bypass such immunities. As I said, I'll look into local records to see if there's been anything in the past that sounds familiar to this.
