He was clearly generous with his packed lunch. As the group was readying to leave, the door to the inn opened and a woman nearing 30 years entered. She wore a plain breastplate that had seen some use but was well-cared for and carried a longsword at her side. <span style="color: lightblue">"Good morning. I am Captain Desarna. Are you the investigators from the Temple?"</span></p><p></p><p>Captain Desarna nodded attentively during introductions and had little to say herself until Turbrand was called to the kitchen. <span style="color: lightblue">"I ask for your discretion in this matter. The town's council is <em>sensitive</em> to outsiders ever since... well, that's not important. Resolving this with a minimum of disturbance would go a long way to mending their suspicious attitudes."</span> The Captain has the key to the cemetery, which she will unlock for them and re-lock when their investigation is complete. She offers to answer any questions but warns them that she hasn't seen the ghost and that any information she has is second-hand and most likely highly exaggerated. She gives a good recommendation of Goodman Titus: he is not prone to tale-telling.</p><p></p><p>[sblock=OOC]I can answer further questions if you have any. Also, there is little new to be gained in a discussion with Titus (though someone can make a Diplomacy check to see if they can coax out a bit of unusual information from him). Make a Perception and/or a Survival check for the exploration of the cemetery as well and I'll try to summarize; I don't think there is much need to prolong those scenes beyond that unless there is something special that you would like to attempt.[/sblock]</p></blockquote><p></p>
