She had (naively) hoped that Francis and Arradon might be able to peek around the deck before any fighting began in earnest. That being foiled now, she wants someone capable to watch her back.</p><p></p><p>OOC, I would prefer to hold my 1st levels until a later encounter and let the rogues set up flanks. Aelspeth doesn't get that.
