M&M 3e: Young Justice!

Meh, Superboy shouldn't have been all contact-telekinesis in the first place, IMHO. That bugged me years back when they started with him. I liked the original idea, back during Reign of the Supermen, just having him as a clone of superman. Then somehow he get's contact telekinesis instead of strength, and this is because he's half-Luthor's clone?! Bah.

Finished Infiltrator, liking the episodes, but should Ras Al'Ghul really have to "report" to the light? I didn't take him for the reporting type, if you know what I mean. Still, good episodes in general.

And if I ever have minions, I hope they're flying monkeys.

Hey guys, sorry for being off the grid for so long. Post coming tonight.

Also, I'm loving how Young Justice is shaping up. Kid Flash is my favorite so far, and the new Aqualad is cool... I think he's cooler than Aquaman! Superboy and Robin are okay, though they sometimes get on my nerves (Superboy's angstiness and Robin's creepy Joker laugh).

Miss Martian is near and dear to my heart, of course, though the "hello megan" catchphrase is NOT catchy, at all. And giving her the bioship and telekinesis are cool, as is limiting her intangibility, but I'm getting the impression there are, like, tons of Martians still alive back on the red planet (especially her mentioning her sisters)... I think I liked J'onn being the last Green Martian and M'gann a White Martian defector, but we'll see what happens with that.

Artemis seems interesting so far, from what I've seen.

Also, the League of Shadows guy reporting to the Light at the end wasn't R'as al Ghul, it was the Sensei. I've got a feeling R'as al Ghul is going to be one of the members of the Light, in the end.

Yeah, the catch phrase must go. Not liking the Telekinesis: seems like trying to be Jean Grey for the girlie girls or something. Her real powers should be fine. I really liked her freaking out Kid Flash with the arms coming out of her body like that, though. :D

Ah, good. The Sensei... never heard of him, but that's okay.

Also: Hey! Aquaman is awesome! Really, he's under-appreciated by you surface-dwellers. If I could be one of the league, he's likely the one I'd pick... or Martian Manhunter, actually. But Aquaman is pretty cool. I think he could be better written, maybe get a lead writer to go over him with a reboot for sure (like how Thor got one).

If anyone here runs a JL game, dibs on Aquaman!

I have to say that I like the 'originals' more (including black dreadlocks for the new Aqualad).

MM is my all-time favorite DC character. Fireinthedust, do you know Aquaman lost his hand again, recently?

Yeah that gut definitely wasn't R'as. I figured out he was the Earth-16 Sensei, but right at first I thought he was The Crimelord version of Blockbuster with his weird hairdo. :)

Since it is Earth-16 continuity I can handle a bit of tweaks here and there for their powers. I probably would have preferred her w/o TK powers though.

As for Miss M. I know an buttload of White Martians went to the Vega system in mainstream continuity and that was where she hailed from. Who knows what they will do in the 'toon.

Is this the same continuity as the JLU cartoons? Or the more recent animated movies? I don't remember much Martian TK in either.

They introduced Miss Martian as his niece... perhaps a lie, like the Artemis thing?

Nope. Young Justice is supposedly set in Earth-16 continuity (according to the producers) and not in the Timmverse.

Thank. I was not sure which 'Earth' was the Timmverse. They surely use a similar graphic style and the Martian Manhunter uses the same costume in YJ as in 'Crisis on two earths'.
