[M&M] Dumb damage question. Help, Please!!!

Okay, so Wildcat (a brick) has hit her opponent Lazarus (psychic).

The DC for her 16 STR and 9 Levels of Super-Strength is: 15 +3 +9 = DC27.

Lazarus then has to make a damage save.

With a result of 27+ he is fine.
With a result of 22-26 he is hit... BUT HOW MANY HITS DOES HE TAKE?
With a result of 17-21 he is hit and stunned for one round and takes one point of damage.
With a result of 16 or less he is unconscious... BUT HOW MANY HITS DOES HE TAKE?

I know the answer here is going to be simple, but I'm irritated with looking for the answer.

With each hit result the character takes (1) hit. They are cumulative for the penalties though.
