M&M for Fantasy

I'm considering using M&M to run a fantasy game.

I've heard of people doing this, but I've never done so myself. However, it could be ideal for a post-apocalyptic high-fantasy campaign I'm thinking about starting this year. Its supposed to be D&D-ish- in part to quiet the concerns of certain players- but the flexibility of the M&M system would let players make up their own spells...something key to the campaign.

Has anyone here done this before? Are there any resources you know of that might be of use?

Green Ronin is publishing Warlocks and Warriors (or something like that) to be used precisely as you intend, I would think it doesn't get any better than that, straight from the M&M source ;)

A pity that's not for a couple of months or more. . . :( But yes, that will be amazingly fantastically cool. Well, probably. :)

In the meantime, there are a couple of interesting resources that I know of, yeah:

Mitheirn
JD's Fantasy Rules for M&M
As above, but could be at variance, somewhat?

Otherwise, you could always try searching atomicthinktank.com, or better yet, asking there.

(edited to add: there's also pretty much the entire Monster Manual over there, at the atomic think tank, and someone has done about half the core D&D spells as well - sorry, no links handy for these. . .)

I thank you all for your responses thus far (and future, if any)...

That's a lot of stuff to go through, and it looks like I'll be adding that W&W* product to my "must buy" list.

Kneel, then arise, newly created Knights of the Order of Shiznit!

* Clever, clever...coming up with a name whose abbrev is the inversion of their core game!

Congratulations on your triplets! :D

I wonder if W&W will actually be called that. I thought it was just a working title. . . It does have that certain. . . ampersand to it, but still. Could be mistaken though.

I wouldn't expect W&W to be out until Q1 2009. There have been no development previews at their website, which they always do as a leadup to their newest products and Amazon never seems to have the right information on Green Ronin release dates (which I have to assume is mostly due to Green Ronin as they are far more accurate with other companies).
