Inside the building was very quiet and did indeed appear to be completely deserted, but just as those on the ground floor hit the stairwell the whole building shock violently!!! Dust and some light debris rained down onto everything and after everyone had picked themselves up and dusted themselves off again the building was once again silent...</p><p></p><p>Moving with more caution then before the heroes made their way towards the floors where the villains had last been seen. Getting around the 10th floor above and the 7th floor below the two teams found that floors 8 and 9 in total disarray and heavily damaged. Making their way cautionary through the area they find a large strange looking pod on the 9th floor. It looks half melted but is very similar to what the insect like aliens where attempting to assemble in the Human Inc. building...</p><p></p><p>[gm]<strong>Technology</strong> checks [sblock=DC 15]This was a very advanced piece of technology but its destroyed now[/sblock]</p><p>[sblock=DC 20]This was once a very advanced piece of technology. It appears that it uses some form of fold-space teleportation technology. It probably beyond repair though. Maybe you could figure out where the destination was though... it will take some time[/sblock]</p><p>[sblock=DC 25+]This was an very advanced fold-space teleporter. You might be able to figure out where the destination was and maybe if you had the parts you could fix it[/sblock]</p><p></p><p><strong>Investigation</strong> checks [sblock=DC 15]The two floors here 8 and 9 appear to have been some kind of secret base. You can tell that the elevators did not stop here, nor did the stairs even have doors that opened here. You only could get it because of the destruction. The main elevators did not stop here nor did the stairwell have any doors here. The destruction is what let you access the area.
