IC: Genithar goes in the company of his comrades to sell and then purchase Gear.

The party goes through the City of Stormreach. It is some ways different from the cities in Khorvaire, but in some ways much the same. It has beggars and hustlers just the same as any city but the design some of its buildings seems a bit off. The party is able to find shops to by/sell the equipment needed and return without much trouble.

The next just before lunch as the group gathers in the lobby, a dark skinned elf wearing tattered skins for clothing enters. He is about 5'2 and very lanky. He has lime green hair that he keeps in dreadlocks that reach the middle of his back. He has a scimitar and a short sword crossed behind his back and seems to stalk as moves across the room. When Gregory sees him he says ”This is our guy. Let’s go meet him. This is a group discussion. Anything you need to know about the land ahead you had best ask him.” With that Gregory stands and moves toward the dark elf….

Terran bows to his guide in a courteous manner Hello, sir, You now the lay of this land very well, and I would assume you would also know the place where we are headed. What sorts of beasts or dangers should we expect?

Approaching the darkly skinned elf with the rest of the group, the Wizard is entranced. Obviously not having seen such a creature before, Genithar's clear eyes are wide with wonder.

As Terran says his piece, the Karrn Elf seems to snap out of his revere and makes a very formal bow from the waist, speaking solemnly in elvish,

[sblock=elven]
Greetings Kin of my Grandsire's Grandsire's Grandsire,

I am Genithar ir'Rume of Khorvaire. By what name do you call yourself?

Blessings of the Blood be on you.
[/sblock]

The dark elf looks to the group and says “My name is Olgeff. I do know the lay of the land and the area Gregory wants to go.” He narrows his eyes on Genithar and says “I appreciate the courtesy, but I do not want to give the impression of secrets.” Bringing his gaze to the rest of the group. “Listen to what I say. I am from the ‘Dark Leaf Tribe’. The area you want to go to is known as Cheerballtin. Which means Unresting Giant. There is a building there with no roof. It used to be home to a Giant we believe. Although he is dead he still guards the place. I warn you he hurts trespassers. The Red Fern Tribe fought with us for the land for years, until both tribes left it. The risk is great but I want to find the secrets of our people that Gregory says may be hidden with your treasure so I will show you all how to get there.”

The Wizard harkens to the dark elf's words, listening closely and then responds, 'Very good, Olgeff DarkLeaf. I am pleased you are on this mission, none the less and wonder how long you think the journey may take, have we enough food? What type of Giant once lived at the roofless building? I speak and read Giantish."

Thral'k had listened quietly. The guide would lead them or it would not. If not, the lizard would make sure it found its way back. The others... maybe.

The lizard released a low hiss at the mention of the giant haunt. "Hssss. Not paid to fight the dead. Foolisssh." It scuttled over to the table, climbing a chair to get a better look. "But quesstionss you not be answering. What beasstss of the jungle bar usss? Do we have a map to guide ussss?"

The Wizard had made a copy of Gregory's map upon the ship, which he carried hidden away in some place. Still, Genithar kept his silence, awaiting the DarkLeaf's words.
