M1: Just a Treasure Hunt?? (Bront Judging)

Their employer still shocked by the ferocity of the attack, the Wizard smoothly takes command of his fellow adventurers, still keeping his weapon's deadly payload aimed at the surrendered man, responding to Corran with a nod and swift words, 'DarkLeaf! Please, can you check our fallen and see if you recognize the poison within them? Corran, I'm unwounded but Lady Shade' seems to be wounded...though that may be the blood of the fallen. Also, she can help you carry Plank, if needed. Terran? How is Thral'K?'

A sudden twinkling in the air around the Mage heralds the end of his arcane shield as he turns his full attention upon the man slowly climbing down from the roof, 'You there! What is this poison? Who are you working for? Answer me true and I may not loose my Shifter upon you. She's got the hunger for man flesh now... speak quickly and we may let you go."

Terran, having just forced his way to the roof, looks closely at the unconscious corpse of Thal'lk.
(I'll take the roll of 25 I had earlier because frankly I never got to use it.)

OOC: Sorry real life stuff was crazy for a couple days. ll is well now.

Corran looking closely at Plank and Terran at Thral'k both notice a black inky substance mixed with the blood seeping from the wounds.

The surrendering attacker gingerly scales down the wall. Obviously scared to death the man arms raised slowly moves toward Genithar.

As Shade' calms down and begins to see straight again she notices a back pack in the corner where the dead man was shooting from. Grabbing the pack she quickly hops of the building. she expertly jumps but still takes 2 points of damge as the shock of landing runs through her body. Gregory stays up top obviously distraught thinking his friend is dead.

Genithar focuses on the prisoner, commanding in a deathly quiet tone, 'On your knees here in front of me. You WILL answer my questions, for it is the only way you will walk away from this without further harm...'

Not taking his eyes off the human, the Wizard calls out to their employer, 'Master Gregory! Plank is unconscious and we need help to carry him. Please, come down."

A look of surprise takes Gregory's face "He's alive!! You're sure!?" and he quickly and easily climbs down the wall to aid his friend.

The terrified archer does as he is told and says "What do you want to know?"

Olgeff looks over Plank's body dabbs his finger in the inky black subtance and sniffs it. "This is Drow Poison. I am sure of it. Your friends will be fine after they sleep some. I am afraid there is no way to tell how long they will be out. Sometime a few minutes, sometimes several hours."

Corran relaxes a little at the drow's news. My heart is warmed to hear that news, friend Olgeff. However, the question becomes why your kin would supply their hunting tools to such as these.

He then turns his attention to the captive rogue. Where did you come by this poison, and why did you attack us? I would guess that the answers will be strongly connected, and you'd better think carefully before trying to hold any information back for yourself. I am a priest of Balinor, and I assure you that my hunt for the truth will be much less pleasant for you than for me. He unleashes a feral smile that rivals Shade's best.

Keeping his face deathly calm, the Wizard inwardly beamed at Corran's words and found a pleasant sense of pride growing in himself.

Shuffling a few steps closer, Genithar was also gladdened by the group's employer's renewed hope and nodded at Gregory as he descended. Keeping the business end of his hunting crossbow aimed right at the prisoner, the elf moved to point blank range and then advised, 'You will answer my comrade's questions now and perhaps you will buy your freedom.'

His tone broker's no argument.

OOC: This guy is completely scared out of his mind. He will cooperate fully.

The prisoner kneels on his knees and begins to sob. "My brother said it would be easy money and no one would be seriosly hurt. He said that Cannith would owe us a favor maybe even teach us a trade. I don't know exactly who we were working for just Cannith. They gave us the poison."
