M1: Just a Treasure Hunt?? (Bront Judging)

When Genithar looks closer it appears the silhouette has his back toward you. It does seem to be aware of your presence at the moment. It appears to be about 60 ft away.

Shrugging at his friend's apparent lack of understanding, though he looks at DarkLeaf a bit askance, the Wizard mentions quietly, Figure in the trees, close and jerks his head towards the concealed person above.

Terran, seeing th shadowy figure pretends to be faffing about My how I hate the forest and all the bugs. This wont do at all. He begins reaching into his pouch a though for a handkerchief.

He takes this time to find his slide his holy symbol down and into his hand, turns around and presents the symbol at his foe and booms in a commanding voice " BEHOLD THE AWESOME POWER OF KOL KORRAN AND THE SOVREIGNS AND BE STILL!!

ooc: Casting hold person Save DC 15

The lizard only grunts at the elf's comment, still out of sorts from the earlier encounter. When the elf mentions the scout nearby, the lizard hops into the foliage, trying to disappear and make its way around while the others provide a convenient distraction.

OOC: Hide/Move Silently (1d20+18=22, 1d20+9=19). He'll climb the same tree if that's the easiest way, or another one. His goal it to get a good bead on the interloper.

The figure in the trees is held fast by Tarren's magic. Thral'k is able to sneak away and up the tree to find a drow perched up above. He has an unstrung bow across his back and is looking deeper into the jungle.

Shadé reacts but still is not too sure whats going on. If she can follow the motions Terran and see the figure, she'll investigate further, climbing if nessiary.

Corran holds up a cautioning hand. Peace, friend. Mightn't we be better served by finding out what the 'cretin' knows? The hunt is always more successful with better information about the quarry and its lair.

The lizard quickly closes on the still drow, throwing away its bow and other apparent weapons. Then, with a wicked smile, it shoves it into a soft patch below. Maybe it would survive, maybe not, but it would not be in the tree any more.

OOC: That lizard sure isn't nice.

Genithar gives Terran a questioning look at his first response and then nods at Corran's wisdom. As the figure above suddenly falls from the tree, the Wizard dashes towards where he fell, worried that the enchantment would be broken and calling out in elvish,

[sblock=elvish]
Hunter, stray not and allow us to make peace!
