Nurlan

The small goblin watches the group as she listens to Nurlan. "Well, upstairs in the fort proper, there's lots of us. Down here, there's only me, Gunyon, Grot and Cranzer. That's five. Er, three. Now, are you the ones Bog warned us were coming?"

"I don't know. What did he say about us?" Nurlan recalls that the dwarf had identified Cranzer as the goblins' leader. He probably won't be able to get anything more specific than "lots", so he doesn't press that point. "Oh, and I have heard about a human woman who lives here too. What can you tell me about her?"

The goblin seems guarded. Her hand hangs by the hilt of her blade as she watches the party warily.

"Bog said he saw a group of men destroy the ghouls and that they were coming here next. Then Cranzer said there was a fight upstairs that didn't go well. You're the ones who killed the ghouls. And now you must have killed all the fighters in the fort. And the zombies. And found the secret door. Is that you?"

"The human woman. You must mean J. She's not here. She went to the coast with the caravan."

"Nurlan, tell her that we aren't them. And that they might still be around."

"We had to kill the ghouls because they attacked us. We were only defending ourselves. Wouldn't you and your friends do the same if a bunch of ghouls attacked you?" Nurlan is afraid of losing the goblin's trust, and works to regain it. "You know I wouldn't hurt anyone who didn't attack me first. That's why I'm here talking to you. The ghouls were my enemies. We never did anything to them, we didn't even know they were there, until they ambushed us. We had to fight for our lives." He pauses to see if her suspicions ease.

[OoC: Sorry for not replying earlier, I was at a LAN and didn't really have time to check here. But I'm back now and back to posting.]

"Irene, are you allright? What happened?"

"Good morning Irene." Tenebrynn adds in as the door opens.

Nurlan has a big smile as he greets the halfling in the common language. "Irene! I am so glad we found you!".

"Tor! And Tenebrynn! And Nurlan! Oh my! Am I glad to see you! I was fearing for my life! They took my stuff, my spellbook, and locked me in here. Oh my, I didn't think you would find me down here."

Charlarn says, "There you are. We've been looking for you. How badly are you hurt?"

"The big thing hit me with an axe, knocking me down instantly. I still feel quite bad, though I think I can walk. Though if you have some healing to spare, I wouldn't mind."

"The human woman. You must mean J. She's not here. She went to the coast with the caravan."

"Jezibel..." Irene mutters as she walks out of the door of her cell, still feeling a bit fuzzy but definatly determined to get going again.

"I have some orisons left. Hold still and receive Phyrah's blessing." Charlarn spontaneously casts cure minor wounds twice in place of two guidance orisons. "If you able to walk, we should leave soon. I don't know when the goblins will return. We don't want to be trapped down here. Did you hear anything while you were here?"

"If there are only 3 others remaining in this compound it might be best to eliminate them so that they can't tell Jezibel about our attack." Tenebrynn says as the discussion turns to evacuation.

"And she said that there were no more figther in this camp. Are you telling to kill civilian, Terebrynn? They might be goblins, but there are still people. Like Nurlan said, I will defend myself, even if it has to end in killing someone, but I won't kill civilian just like that. There is other way to have them not telling about us. We could take them with us. Anyway, with the bodies lying everywhere, she would have easy way to figure what happen. Except if she is dumb, in that case, I doubt we would have to fear her."

"Well, if I understood Tenebrynn's translation correctly, they are not necessarily civilians. Cranzer is as far as we know a combat-ready priest. Anyway, we cannot take her with us under these circumstances - she is under a spell, and will realize what happened once it wears off. Whatever we do, we need to decide quickly."
Ashnar looks towards Charlarn, waiting for the cleric's decision.
