At first glance, once hardly notices the message placed within the amassed parchments upon it. However, as the careful eye observes, it seems that the message is not written upon any form of parchment at all, but the very boards itself, carved in a brutal manner to display a message, holding no signature or identity

THE GEARS OF MADNESS TURN ONCE MORE
WITH SIGHTLESS SIGHTS IT SEEKS ITS CORE
LIVING FLAMES TO FUEL ITS TOIL
TO SEEK THE SECOND CHILD OF MOIL

WHEN THE BEAST IS BROKEN TO WILD
DEFEAT IS CERTAIN FOR THE CHILD
THE CAGE THAT BREAKS STAINS THE DAY
THUS SHALL FADE THE SHADE OF GREY

IF ANGEL NAUGHT SUFFERS FOR HE
THEN ANGEL NAUGHT SHALL SET HIM FREE
BEFORE THE BEAST BREAKS FROM CAGE
AS SIGHTLESS SIGHTS SEEK ITS RAGE

IN SIGIL'S PASS OF ONE DARK NIGHT
FLAMES OF MADNESS WILL COME ALIGHT
WHETHER CHILD WILL CEASE TO BE
OR LIVE WILL BE UP TO THEE

A faint scent all to familiar with war-hardy folk is present with the carving, though the trail ends at the boards

A solitary figure approaches from the crowded merchant streets to inspect the strange writing upon the wall. As light gives definition to his form, it becomes apparent that the man is young, frail, and ragged, as if the being had spent many moments in distress. His frozen gaze narrows at the characters carved into the board, muttering to himself in mild frustration before abruptly turning and running through the crowd, vanishing amongst the throng of outlanders.
