D&D General Made a list of beginner D&D essentials (and shiny extras) for my fellow dice goblins

Thought I’d share something fun—I’ve been putting together a Benable list of beginner D&D supplies that covers both the essentials and some cool extras I wish I’d had when I started.

It’s got stuff like dice sets (with fun color options!), fillable character sheets, campaign tools, DM screens, minis, maps, and even little extras like dragon-eye dice bags and dry-erase DM screen trackers.

I'm also making a second list for more advanced players who’ve already been sucked into the chaos

The link seems like it is a site for people to make lists and tag links for third party sites like Amazon. It is an ok list, but the majority of the things are more expensive than what I would say are starter things. The books are the books, but starting off one could just get the SRD or the starter rules. The dice need not be metal and even the mechanical pencils could just be the cheap Bic ones. A lot of the links could be a good list for birthdays and Christmas.

When my first party and I started out we were pretty clueless, so we invested a lot of money into things we wished we'd gotten different versions of later, so I put what I would have started with ideally instead of just the cheapest, since we all had regrets about just getting the cheapest. Totally fair on things like the mechanical pencils though, I will definitely consider that.
