Magic and wild search

So I forget which class has wild search, is it warlock or sorcerer? I'm kind of new, also because whenever the person with that class uses magic he does a wild search, if you some sort of enchanted item would you need to do the wild search?

It's "Wild surge", not "wild search".

It's from the Wild Magic origin of the Sorcerer. I suggest you find that section in the Player's Handbook (page 103) and read it, then come back with further questions. It's a relatively complex ability as to when it triggers, so reviewing the actual rules should be your first step.

Nonsense! The troll suddenly has dinner, and the rest of you can escape. It's only bad for your friend. But he's playing a wild mage, so what did he expect?

Well my other friend used an axe on him because he was the second smartest character in the group and said "ima kill the sheep so he turns back into a man because you refuse to stop being a bear" and I was in a heap of gnoal, I'm a wizard sage so I'm weak. My strength is 8 and I almost tried to fireball the gnoal on me xD
