Magic Circle vs Astral Construct?

Hypersmurf, you're in New Zealand? Screw it, we're coming to you! CRGreathouse, want to join us? :D

Dr. Rictus isn't a rules lawyer; he's a rules guru. He's brilliant, has a good memory, is a professional games designer, and really knows his stuff ~ but he's never challenging rules calls and trying to force a point, like the traditional rules lawyer does.

I'm the "good rules lawyer" - I don't question the DM, but I do have an encyclopedic knowledge of the rules. I often helped the DM design rules for unusual situations - he'd call me and ask how best to adjuncate a situation. In fact, I helped the DM too much: the players had a rule that if the DM asked me for advice at the table, they'd shut me up before I could answer. ;)

See you in NZ. :D
