I was dose anyone here know any movies, anime or novels that have stories about spellbooks, grimoires and magic books as tools for characters? The ones I know so far is Zatch Bell.

Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness feature The Necronomicron, though oddly I don't think the book itself even makes an appearance in any of the other various Lovecraft inspired movies.

The 'Young Wizards' series by Diane Duane involves a spellbook at times; all wizards in their world begin their wizardly career by finding the basic training manual. Reference is made to it many times, and some readings from it occur. The Manual appears often in all the books. The Manual can also appear in computerized form, or as a WizPod.
