Magic tattoos

I keep reading about these magic tattooes that red wizards of Thay have. But I can't seem to find any descripctions about them in my books . Now I'll bet a small fortune, that some of you guys can help med out. Where can I read about magic tattoos?

Go to the Player's Guide to Faerun, where you'll find the Tattoo Focus regional feat. That book also has the Create Magic Tattoo spell. Both of these are revised from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. Races of Faerun has the Tattoo Magic item creation feat.

If you don't have access

If you don't have access to the faerun stuff here is the basic gist of it.

Treat them exactly like potions except the can't be passed on to another person like potions. To balance that, you don't need a standard action to get them ready to use. So, instead of a full round to get and drink a potion, it only takes a partial action to use a tattoo. The person must of course be there for the creation of the item, duh... Other than that, the potion rules work just fine.
