Magic The Gathering d20 MM or minigame???

Just a thought...

I am curious why WOTC hasnt cashed in on putting out a MM of those nifty critters that can be found in the card game. Such a product might help get cardgame-only players to try out D&D. I mean, they have the rights to the trademark, already have gobs of artwork, why not work up the stats and put out a book or web book? I am not a MtG fan, but I like the creatures, and the concepts behind them.

Anyone else out there think that such a gamebook would be appealing?

Wizards do not like mixing the brands. That's why you probably won't see Magic: The Gathering Role Playing Game and Dungeons & Dragons Trading Card Game.

As much disgust as I feel for Magic: The Gathering and its players, I would love to see a Dominaria sourcebook. Frankly, it's one of the richest settings out there and deserves to have its various aspects codified and made into an RPG. Hey, it worked for L5R, 7th Sea, and others....why not Magic?
