D&D 5E Magic weapons required to hit incorporeal creatures?

Snoring Rock

Back in the day, you needed a magic weapon of at least +1 to hit incorporeal creatures and if memory serves, there may have been one that required +2 or better. AD&D days....

5e gives damage reduction to such creatures if a magical weapon is not used. So you can still use a mundane weapon, it is just not as effective. Has anyone changed that up and taken that way and required a magical weapon to hit rather than damage reduction?

I am thinking of house-ruling that in. 5e seems like a rule set I can play with.

Give it a try and see if it works for you. If turns out not to, you can just say that it was that specific incorporeal creature that required a magic weapon.
