Malevolence!??!

Does anybody have any idea how long a ghost's malevolence ability lasts? The save DC and all that is in the description of the ghost template in the 3.5 MM, but I'm curious if its duration is a few hours, minutes, rounds, or all day?

workign on a major NPC ghost, and how malevolence functions will have a large effect on the story.

It works as per Magic Jar, with Caster Level = the greater of 10 or the Ghost's HD, and Magic Jar lasts 1 hour/level. So, 10+ hours, plus I see no reason why it couldn't keep re-possessing the same host every 10 hours if the save kept being failed.
