[Malhavoc] Hey, Arcana Unearthed fans!

I'm doing an interview with Monte about Arcana Evolved. Give me questions! If I can, I'll be happy to include your questions into the interview.

What do you want to know about the book, the setting, the process and the design?

The book looks great. I have Arcana Unearthed already, and love it. I never had the opportunity to use it, but nonetheless, I am interested in acquiring this new version.

Question 1: How many pages this book (the current AU has 256 pages).

Question 2: Is all material from the current AU found in the evolved version, or is there some missing stuff (and which one)?

Question 3: I do read full color for this evolved version. Who are the artists? (I wasn't overly impressed by many of th artists featured in the current AU).

Notes for myself:

- If you were launching AU again, what design choices would you have made differently with the benefit of hindsight? Did you change those things in AE, or are they too ensconsed in the rules set to do so? (example: skills like read lips or intuit direction)

- With Ae you're competing directly with WotC for D&D customers. Has AU/AE found a consistent niche, or is there lots of crossover?

The major change in Arcana Evolved/Diamond Throne is the return of the dragons. How has this affected your own campaign(s)?

Will we see a poster sized map of the Diamond Throne and the Mysterious West?

Peace and smiles :)

Will Malhavoc get into providing more detail about the setting? Parts of it were left intentionally vague, but parts of it are almost *too* vague.

Is metaplot advancement going to be a common theme for the setting moving forward, or is this a one-time event?

Will the revised rulebook move towards closer combatibility with D&D (in terms of things like skill list, etc.) or is that not even a design consideration?

Hey, this could make the subject of a thread with a poll. Personally, I wouldn't buy AE before PHB. First the PHB as a basic core book (with the other two), and then something else such as Arcana Evolved. IMO this book competes more with Green Ronin's Advanced Player Manual (and maybe WotC UA) than anything else.

Monte once mentioned that he wanted to make an item based character class for AU, you might ask him about that and where he thought it or something like it might fit into the setting.

Are the goodies from The Stuff going to be in it? Any nods to diamondthrone.com?
Will the oathsworn be converted a bit to be closer to the IMO more mechanically elegant 3.5 monk? By which I mean, using the 3.5 FoB crunch and enhancement bonus to speed?
