Thanx for all the advice so far..
Here is some more info on 'Victoria'..
She was orphaned at a very young age and dropped off at a boarding school. She was treated like crap by the headmistress, and was forced to work at the school, in addition to her studies. She would constantly be in trouble for disobeying the headmistress, manipulation of other students, slacking off, talking back, reading and/or studying questionable material, and inappropriate conduct with other (female) students.
(That last one is going to be fun, because with her 16 charisma, 2 out of the 3 other players in our group have male characters that are obviously very attracted to her!)
Her general attitude is that the world owes her and she aspires to live the 'good life' without actually having to work for it. I'm not sure, but I think the DM is setting her up to have some sort of royal blood.. There was some reference to her and an old necklace another player has, she tried to Read Languages on it, and had a vision of how the necklace has killed its previous female wearers.. This could get interesting... or lucrative.
I've only played one game with her so far, so I haven't really had time to really do anything except find work, residence, etc. (..and save vs a strong drink that knocks you on your ass.) I haven't even had a chance to use her one spell so far (charm person).. And to top it off.. The city our campaign is set in has banned magic within the city walls!
The DM uses Cantrips that are useful and actually has mild effects, so I was thinking of using some sort of modified cantrips.. (ex. a harmless 'poison' cloud that only Victoria has the 'antidote' to makes a mugger or rapist cease their attack before they 'drop dead'..) Of course I have to discuss this with my DM.
I'm really excited to get playing with this character. and am kinda bummed this campaign only plays once every two weeks...
*Unrelated topic*: I may have thought up a spell to summon a chamber pot that disappears after use, taking all unwanted waste with it.. Is that make me weird?
