Or he changed it. no one has to follow a module word for word. of course it sound really powerful as an item, I want one.

Re-read the original post and my reply. Phoenix8008 specifically stated that the DM was looking for a description of the "item" which rather strongly implies that he was looking to give the character the item shown in the module... except it's not an item as has been noted. I also made the same mistake when I was reading the module and planning to use it in a campaign. However, when I went looking for the item, I couldn't find it... until my use of the Adobe search feature located it in the list of spells in BoEM1.
