Manyshot feat - arrows only?!

The Manyshot feat available at the SRD site makes reference only to multiple arrows as an attack form, not any other ranged attacks. Is that purposeful? The other ranged feats are more inclusive.

Reading the feat text in the PHB I agree that it does spcifically state multiple "arrows" fired at the same time. This is understandable as the archer is holding several arrows drawn and releasing them at the same time. However, I would allow a PC to use the feat for Throwing Daggers, Shiruken, or other similar weapons in conjunction with the Quick Draw feat. It's easy to imagine someone thowing several such weapons by drawing them from a bandolier, or a bracer on thier opposite arm. Just my opinion. By the RAW though, its definitely arrows only (I think it was to avoid the non-sensical "several bolts loaded in my x-bow at once" shot, which would be possibe w/o the arrow-only stipulation).

It is definitely intended only for arrows. It's intended to permit characters to essentially do that scene in LotR:FotR, where Legolamb (legolas) has the two arrows nocked and shoots them both at one target.

While it is moderately silly and most likely impractical, it is fairly easy to see how one can do it on a bow. Applying it to other missile/thrown weapons is more problematic, though I believe that Shurikens are meant to be thrown in groups.

It's a *fantasy* game. Like firing multiple arrows isn't stretching reality enough?

Definitely should encompass other weapons as well.

It should work for Shuriken too. Otherwise, we discriminate against the Ninja, and they might flip out... which would be bad.
