Map Folio 3D--Am I missing something? (Specifically, the b/w interiors?)

Empyreus

First Post
I bought the Map Folio 3D yesterday, due to the blurb on the product page on this site as well as the one on WOTC's site. Both say that the cutouts have color exteriors and black and white interiors. However, when I got it open, I saw that all the cardstock was only printed on one side...the color/exterior side!

I'm very let down, because I could've printed these out myself from WOTC's site. Of course I wouldn't have, as I don't want to make a diorama of little buildings...I was looking forward to having the interiors of the buildings, as promised on the product page, to add a little panache to my roleplaying scenarios.

Has anybody else bought this? I'm hoping against hope that I just got a misprinted copy somehow...but that just doesn't seem likely.

Looks like I was bait-and-switched by an out of date product page... :(

This may sound odd on my part, but I didn't even think about the interiors. What do you mean? Like the inside of the towers or the walls or something? Parts of the smithy? Inn?

This is cut and pasted from WOTC's product page (bold is my emphasis):

Set the Scene for Adventure

Inside you’ll discover intimidating walls, comfortable cottages, a bustling smithy, and other three-dimensional structures. This accessory for the D&D game provides a small village of highly detailed cardstock buildings, walls, and other structures for you to assemble and use in any game.

Scaled for use with Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures, each building may be used individually or combined with others to create a virtually limitless array of towns and other settlements. Full-color exteriors enhance your game and capture your players’ imagination, while black-and-white interiors allow characters to fully explore each model.
Originally developed for the Fold-Up Paper Models feature on the official D&D website, these models are the third in a new series of materials created to help you add flavor and functionality to your D&D game.

No black and white in the set I bought...what's up with that?

Just got a note from Customer Service...

I just got a response to my inquiry to Wizards customer service. They told me to mail it back to them and they'd send me a new set. So, looks like this was a printing error after all! Sucks I have to send it back to them and wait for a replacement, but I guess it's better than letting that stack of cardboard sit there taking up shelf space.

I'd still like to hear from anybody else that bought this, just to verify that the interiors are printed on other people's copies.

Thanks!

Nope, mine are blank as well. I suspect they all are, as the back cover does not mention the interiors. The text there is a cut-down version of the blurb you copied, Empyreus.

Anybody else?

I don't want to pay the postage to have these sent back to WOTC if they're just gonna send me the same thing back. Maybe the customer service person misunderstood what I was asking for...
