Map Folio 3D

To me, the Map Folio 3D is just a complete waste of space and nothing but a money spinning ploy by WotC. But maybe I'm wrong and in fact it's going to be a great product. But coming from a company that supplies minitaures that require boiling to straighten them (sometimes), I kinda doubt it (I don't think the boiling will work too well on this product ;) )

So, will anyone actually be buying this product?

I will. I've been in various situations where having 3-d town models and the like would have been useful.

As for the comment on the miniatures, I have found the plastic composition
of the miniatures to be superior in just about every way to their heavy, usually bent, often broken, metal competitors. Two possibilities:

(A) Buy some brushes, paint, and glue. Lay out some newspaper. Glue pieces of your miniature together. Prime your miniatures. Carefully paint them. Wait for them to dry. Then, watch your paint get slowly ground away by jagged bits of metal from other miniatures.

OR

(B) Sometimes drop a miniature in a cup of hot water and bend it upright.

Hmmmm... I choose (B).
