March 15th Gamedays - how to honor EGG?

We have Gamedays in Chicago, Boston and DC very soon, on March 15th. Could we honor him in some slightly formal way? If so, any ideas on how? Not sure what we could do other than raising a toast to his memory, but perhaps we could brainstorm something clever.

Perhaps we could take a photo at each event to send on to Gail and the rest of the Gygax family, so they know we're thinking of them and gaming in his memory.

I was wondering the same thing. We have a Con this weekend in Western PA, and I want to do something.

Thaumaturge.

We need to do something, agreed, but at the moment I have no good ideas. Perhaps when we have had a day or two we can come up with something appropriate.

We could take up a collection at each location, maybe for donation of gaming or other books to a local public library?

I had thought of running a traditional Gygax module instead of my scheduled game. Then I got asked to sub for someone else's scheduled game.

But then I thought, I might do it anyways. Some traditional dungeons would plug in great to Spirit of the Century. Imagine negotiating Tomb of Horrors Indiana-Jones style.

I'm going to be running Classic D&D, same as I already was, but you can be Gary'll be in my thoughts the entire time. I think the best tribute to Gary is simply to play on and have a laugh with friends.
