Monstrous Humanoid in my opinion is the most befitting. I see them as another version of a carbon-based lifeform, so its not something truly supernatural. I written some already, just working on their vision atm.

Actually outsider doesn't have to mean something from another plane, it can also be described as alien. Predators are alien, right, and outsiders do get a lot better saves than monstrous humanoid... :D But you should do as you see fit.

Okay, okay I agree. Maybe Outsider isn't bad either. Its the basic thing in D&D.... are creatures from really, really, really far away still organised in the humanoid / animal / beast categories or are they Outsiders....

Me like better saves.....

Good evening. Ill say it here, as it was the first post of the evening (that I follow anyway) you responded to ;)

Youre normally online when I come online at 11.15, whats happening these days? tsk tsk tsk

Im still working on the Predator though, but its comming ahead. Im trying to remember all the weapon he had, correct me if im wrong..

Shoulder Cannon - Used in both movies. He used it primarily against poor Arnold when he's hiding in the trees with his bow.

Disc - Used at several occasions, clearly Vorpal & Returning

Speargun - Used on a few occasions. Saw it mentioned many times in the Comic Books, fires small darts of some kind.

Net - Used once in a Comic Book entitled Blood on the Savannah. Captured a lion, which was made into a weird skull-totem (like he does with humans).

Claws - Placed on his upper hand, similar to Tiger Claws (item I remember from Ed. 2, havent seen in 3 rd. edition yet).

Clay_More: I was online at 11.15, I was just somewhere else on the net ;)

Now for those items:

Shoulder Cannon: Wonderous Item, Should fire Magic Missiles or something similiar.

Disc: Create a new weapon, or use the Chakra as a base, then make it magic, I would suggest making it keen rather than vorpal though.

Speargun: Make a new mundane weapon that only deals 1d2 points of damage, but fires poisoned darts (range increment should be quite short, 30' perhaps?)

Net: Simply use the net found in the PHB, but make it from metal (was also used in the final battle of the second movie).

Claws: Found in oriental adventures, make them keen.

Other than that, all I have to say at the moment, is good luck. :D

I was merely fishing for if anyone else might know additional items. I got these items covered pretty good already. The dartgun inflict a little more damage & actually has the longest range increment. Its a high-powered type, see. Predator doesn't use poison, IMO. Never saw any reference to it. The darts could go through a car in the Comics though.
I made the disc magical as well, chakra is actually a good base, since its very similar to the weapon. The disc also has an ability, portrayed in Predator II, to go through obstacles even when slowed down. It can shread through several cows hanging in chains from the ceiling and speed back up once its gone through those....
Shoulder Cannon has a concussion like effect. Its projectiles, as I have written them, are Sonic / AoE. Its clear from the scene where Arnold is hiding in the trees, that the cannon inflict AoE kinds of shots. It should either be Force or Sonic, but im thinking of going with Sonic.
Net is simple. In the comic, it doesn't show any sign of being special at all.
Claws, keen sounds good. They dont seem like that special in the movies, it merely appears as if though the big fella is good at using them.

The net ties the hero to a wall in the final showdown in movie 2. He uses the disk to cut himself free. How one would create that effect in D&D is beoynd me, but it was cool anyways. As for my suggestions, that is all they where, suggestions.

Later,

hehehe, create a web with Bull Rush / Grapple effect? hmmm..... its a toughie. I had forgotten it was in the end of the movie, but I remember it now. It was right before the Pred is slain...
