Deft Manipulations and Fiery Tirades: Bards of Hell
The chief weapon of a fiend is not its brutish strength, its vile magic, or even its cunning artifice. A fiend's poisonous tongue has enslaved more souls and thrown more kingdoms into chaos than all the assembled Infernal Legions. The infernal song is a cacophony of dark falsehoods, agonized moans, and broken promises woven into an eldritch melody underpinning the Infernal Hierarchy. Some bards have heard that melody, perhaps only once, and with reckless abandon tap into the very soul of hell to empower their songs. By Washington Carlyle Pearce.
Degaari’s Bag of Arcane Tricks
Degaari Venn gained a reputation as a prankster, misfit, and master of mischief long before he became a hero of the land. With perhaps the exception of Degaari’s Daily Deliberations, these items may not be original artifacts used by the master thief and illusionist himself, as his works inspired many copycat items. Still, legends persist that if you collect all of these items, you can summon Degaari Venn and request a boon from him in exchange for the items. By Anthony Alipio.
The Thundering Ring Combat Tradition
People are fascinated by many things. The visceral thrill of combat. The dramatic tension of storytelling. The impressive feats of athleticism. So, when you combine these three things, you create the ultimate form of entertainment.
This article introduces the Thundering Ring combat tradition, a suite of powerful abilities meant to transform any character into a grappling legend. Knocking enemies down, rapidly subduing them, and hitting them with a climactic finishing move—this tradition is built to take down the mightiest of foes. By Jagger A. Dillon.
Love and Loss: Destinies of Redemption and Reclaiming
Not all calls to adventure are answered by choice. Some heroes walk paths of wealth, glory, or excellence, forged by ambition and will. These destinies are different. They are written in loss.
Within these pages lie destinies born of misfortune and grief—moments where something precious is taken: a lover, an heirloom, a future, a life. Loss comes in many forms, and every destiny here demands a choice. Will you accept the hand fate has dealt—or reject it, and dare the consequences? Each of these destinies has two fulfillment features that can be achieved in different ways. By Riley Johnson.
