[Market Research]Wind in teh Willows d20

First Post
I'm curious as to how many people here would be interested in a d20 version of this captivating fantasy world.

Obviously it would include a vast array of rodents, amphibians and other furries as PC racial choices, with a current write-up of the gameworld's major NPC's - Badger, Gerbil, Toad, Cinnabun Bear, etc.

What I'm sure we won't all be in agreeance upon is the metaplot so common to prefab campaign worlds.

Should the product contain the seeds of LittleBear's madcap (and alternative) escapades with HoneyBear and his swinging furry circle of friends?

Suppose one were to project the timeline covered by the RPG to focus on Son of LittleBear - just to avoid the inevitable endless intraweb debate on comparative power of the NPC's we all feel we know so well. What stats, classes, PrC's, skills and feats would he likely have as a result of his twisted history?

Would Son of LittleBear have given himself over to the darkside?

I value your opinions.

I'd buy a product like this in a minute. Even more so if you included a LARP version!

PS, Little Bear rocks! ;)

I'm assuming the first supplement would be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, right? I mean, be fair, everyone wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

The only way to do it properly would be classless (of course, since classless is the best way to do all games).

You should make clear exactly which skills are appropriate to hunting, riding, mousing, and circus dogs (for example), though, so that I can conform strictly to those lists while evading the constricting form of classes.

Oh, and you have to make sure that toads get a hop attack.

I would buy it.

Would you get Maurice Sendak (sp?) to illustrate it? I think his light-hearted yet earthy illustrations would be ideal.

P.S. While I realize the first post is a troll/joke this would in all seriousness be a great idea for a childrens rpg.

This indeed could be quite an interesting setting, especially for players in the right age groups. We always see plenty of novel->rpg-setting adaptions for adult style books, but never for young-adults (well, I guess you could call Middle Earth one).

Of course, the author of Harry Potter is holding that one back. Another one that would be cool would be a Narnia RPG setting/game.

I would buy a Wind in the Willows rpg if it was done properly. It would be a nice diversion from regular roleplaying. As long as the game was lighthearted and in the spirit of the original work.

I'll thank you to take this Winnie-the-Pooh, A.A. Milne-style furry filth off of this family-oriented UNsegroup.

The only thing more pathetic than being a furry is playing a role playing game pretending to be a furry.

Still, I imagine it would sell well, in a rather demented niche market.
