Marking defenders who grapple

Daze does not end grabs - not as of the rules compendium or maybe before that, but the original line that grabs end when you get dazed has been excised.
Interesting... the DDI Compendium still says that daze ends a grab, under the "Grab" glossary entry, but it cites only the PHB and PHB3. The more recent "Grabbed" glossary entry agrees with the Rules Compendium that daze doesn't end a grab. Looks like they should clean that up in DDI.

I played a brawler fighter with the Deft Hurler feat. He was a seriously fun defender to play. And very effective. One of the cool things about him is that he could grab his target when he made an OAtk. So not only were they stopped in there tracks when they tried to get past him, but they were stuck there.

Plus he always had a hand free to draw a javelin, Cleave, hurl the javelin at someone on the other side of the battlefield and mark them as well. Not entirely on topic, but he was a brawler that grappled :)
